Icarus Jones is a rock and roll band based in South Louisiana. The group's unique sound was crafted over years of playing in the barrooms of New Orleans and the surrounding Cajun Country.

The band was born as a songwriting partnership between vocalist and guitarist Jacob Hebert and bassist Paul Harang. Lead guitarist Seth Stogner, drummer Tim Belanger, and keyboardist Seth Welker joined soon after, and together they developed their creative and sonic identity.

Their first full-length album, Motion, showcases their collaborative songwriting and production style. With its big meaty hooks and celebratory songs, Icarus Jones feels at home on an outdoor festival stage under an afternoon sun, in a cozy watering hole hugging Bayou Lafourche, or in one of the many historic live music venues in New Orleans.

Listeners can hear influences from bands like Queens of the Stone Age, The Police, Foo Fighters, The Traveling Wilburys, and Louisiana blues legends like Gatemouth Brown.

Motion is the result of the artists' combined decades of playing and songwriting.
